So, I like to get lots of car pics. My stock camera just doesn't do it for me, and I'm looking for something with more options, like exposure settings, etc. Something relatively cheap or free would be preferable.

By the way, it's an LG G3, running Android 4.4.2. It has a 13MP camera that shoots at 4160x3120. Just looking for what will give me the best quality shots.

I've been told the new Camera settings in Android 5.0 will offer a vast improvement, but I don't know how soon LG will get the update.

3DZoomFX is supposed to be one of the more highly-regarded camera apps.

I hope so. From what I can see, it's late November-early Dec that LG will get the update. The G3 should get it, considering it's their flagship. I do hope it's an improvement.

Camera Zoom FX.

I think you have to pay for it but I got it when it was free.

The feedback I've head so far is that it really improves camera performance on the Nexus devices, and the general consensus is that the G3 already takes the best pictures of the bunch (because lazorz), so it'll only get better.

The G3 does take really good pictures, it's just lackluster as far as settings go. Laser focus is awesome, though.

I have not seen any good android camera apps and I really liked the apps that were available on ios.

iOS did have some good camera apps, but I'm just not an iPhone person. I've owned a lot of them, and the phone just doesn't do it for me. Just never cared for it. But, I will not deny the fact that some good pictures can be taken with an iPhone.

Yeah, I like a lot of things about android but the apps are not one of them. Well aside from the higher priced iPad app bs.
